The sites listed below are those I have used myself and found to be both useful to me as a drafter and a PC
user in addition to being completely genuine in their content.
I have no connection whatsoever with any of the sites mentioned other than as a satisfied customer and pass
on the addresses below in the hope that you also may benefit.

A site written by another working drafter who enjoys what he does.
Lots of useful tips and tricks and a growing forum, worth a visit.
Huge amounts of essential engineering information and tables, plus links to many other such sites.
Very useful free resource.
An excellent idea for In Case of Emergency contact numbers on your mobile phone.

Even if you don't join, at least add a contact number under ICE to your mobile phone directory.

A dedicated knowledge base forum for Aveva's PDMS, hosted and managed by a working PDMS administrator.

If you have a PDMS issue, this is where you start.

Gauged Brickwork

If you have some time (it is very absorbing) have a look at this fascinating web site paying tribute to the highest level of craftsmanship at both practical and drawing/design levels.

Driver guide

If you need a device driver, for literally anything, I suggest you start your search here.  You will need to register and "log in" but it's all free.

Hardware book

Reckoned to be the largest free collection of pin outs and cable descriptions on the internet, I can't vouch for that, but there is a serious amount of good information to be had from this very useful site.

Office templates

For users of Microsoft Office this section of the Microsoft web site contains more templates than you could ever imagine, and all free.

Your pension

UK government run site for all your pension problems and enquiries.
